HotSpot Online 01
Welcome to the first installment of the HotSpot online. As many of you know, my “breakout” in cWo was considered to be at the first Slam in the Sand in a match against then World Champion, Notorious JON. Now obviously, the “HotShot” has gone on to do many things since then, but SITS was always considered The “HotShot’s” card. This year’s card contains many exciting matches and a few personal feuds. None more personal than the Street Fight between Johnny Serious and Nick Dangerous. More on that one in a bit. Without further adieu, here are my predictions for the PPV I made famous.
World War II Match in a Monumental Structure WGL (Chandler Edsel Dalmon, Xyce Pac, Thaddeus Walker, and Devon Dice) Vs. Raymond Jacobson, Barret Hawk, Mike Logan, and Sean Pason
This one, to me seems like a bit of a no brainer. As we’ve seen last week the WGL is more interested in making fun of other people and trying to spend a lot of time on their entrance and catchphrases. Their opponents are four guys who just want to wrestle and are tired of being ridiculed by the so-called “visionaries.” Jacobson has a bright future ahead of him and I believe, similar to the ol’ HotShot, his future begins at Slam in the Sand as he leads his team to victory.Phantasy Vs. Evette
Evette has certainly changed from her days as just a “pretty face” but Phantasy seems like the real deal to me. Phantasy takes this one in an underrated squeaker.Jezebel Vs. Meghan Conklin
Meghan Conklin has been very impressive and will continue to be with her first PPV victory.Chastity McGavin and Jen Diamond w/ Mary-Joe Wolf and Mad Maddie Vs. JJ Carter and Brother Shabazz
People want to always use the old adage of men being superior to women. Well as someone who has traveled the roads for years with Jen Diamond, I can tell you that she’s not going to be using that adage any time soon. This might be the closest match on the card, but I think Jen is the wildcard. If Jen brings her A Game, her team wins. I’m betting on Jen bringing what she always brings.
Hell in a Cell match for the FCUK Title Jacob "The Bastard" Baxter (c) Vs. "The Product of Hate" Josh Cantrell
There isn’t a more intense wrestler on the cWo roster than the “Product of Hate.” The only thing eluding him in his cWo career has been a title….that ends at SITS.World Title Match Andrew Phillips (c) Vs. Heretic
If there is anyone who can explain to Andrew Phillips what he is about to get himself in to it is me. Mike and I have never gotten along, but Heretic and the HotShot flat out hate each other and have taken each other to their personal limits on numerous occasions. If Phillips has the passion that brought him to championship gold, he will retain. No Holds Barred Street Fight Nick Dangerous Vs. Johnny Serious
Johnny Serious is cWo’s MVP. He is the guy who is out trying to right the wrongs that are being put forward by little rats like John Pilchard and even bigger rats like Nick Dangerous. Johnny has a chance to end this Dangerous problem before it gets started. The personal issues between these two men come to a head here and Johnny Serious will be the one who gets his hand raised. My hope? That at some point Serious gets his hands on that Pilchard….if he doesn’t, I just might have to.So there they are folks, and you can take them to the bank. Any questions for the HotShot? Email them to HotSpot@cwo-fed.com. Stay tuned for the next edition of the HotSpot online by cWo’s newest journalist, the “HotShot” Chris Michaels!
