[The picture then breaks into pieces to reveal the pyro going off around the HP Pavilion as the camera pans around the sold out crowd, which is on it’s feet. The camera shows off fans holding signs, then cuts to Joel Nelson and Robbie Hart at the announce table.]

Joel Nelson: We’re LIVE from San Jose for another action packed cWo Driven! I’m Joel Nelson, and I’m joined as always by the one and only Robbie Hart, and we’ve got an incredible night of action tonight as the Lord of Punishment tournament continues!

Robbie Hart: And we’ll see Nick Dangerous tonight!

Nelson: Right! We’ll be seeing Sean Pason squaring off against Nick Dangerous to determine who gets a shot at Chazz Mendell’s US title!

Hart: And what about the main event? Who’s Cantrell gonna face?

Nelson: I know as much as you do, Robbie. It can be ANYONE on the cWo roster!

Hart: Bah! I hate surprises!

Nelson: Well, let’s not waste any time! It’s time for some Tournament action! Take it, Donna Dixon!

Lord of Punishment Round 1
Muru vs. Brother Shabazz

Donna Dixon: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is a first round match in the Lord of Punishment tournament!

[A picture of the earth is shown on the cWo tron. It explodes as pyro and smoke fill the arena. “Ladies and Gentlemen” by Saliva begins to play as Muru makes his way out to the ramp]

Dixon: Introducing first from Allen Park, Michigan and weighing two hundred and twenty-five pounds…MuuuuRuuuu!!!!

[Muru makes his way down the ramp to a chorus of boos and slides into the ring. He stands and awaits his opponent]

Dixon: His opponent from New Haven, Connecticut and weighing two hundred and five pounds…Brother ShaaaaBaaaaz!!!!

[“Triumph” by the Wu Tang Clan begins to play as the camera focuses in on the crowd. Brother Shabazz makes his way through the crowd carrying a pan american flag and followed closely by JJ Carter. The two men hop the guardrail and enter the ring]

Nelson: JJ Carter missed out on his chance to advance at Will of the Warrior and now Brother Shabazz is getting his chance. He will have a tough road ahead against Muru.

Hart: Muru might have more experience but I think Shabazz has the heart to pull up the upset. He is leading a charge and this is a good start to get some supporters.

DING DING DING

Nelson: This one is underway and the two men are locked up in the center of the ring. Shabazz takes control with an arm lock and drops an elbow into Muru’s shoulder. Shabazz now with a kick to the back of the knee which takes Muru from a standing position.

Hart: That is the best way to beat Muru. You need to keep him off his feet.

[Shabazz continues to put the boots to Muru. He then puts on an ankle lock trying to twist it right off. Muru’s face is filled with pain and he is struggling to reach the ropes. He finally reaches them and Shabazz reluctantly releases the hold]

Nelson: That looks to be his game plan Robbie. Brother Shabazz now whips Muru into the ropes and hit’s a big spine buster planting Muru into the mat. He makes the cover…

1

2...

Nelson: Muru is able to kick out and Shabazz stays on the offensive.

Hart: Shabazz is really showing some aggression in this match. I smell upset Joel!

Nelson: Could be Robbie, because Shabazz picks Muru off the mat and is laying into him with heavy right hands. Shabazz now with an elbow to the face!

Hart: He might have broken Muru’s nose with the one!

Nelson: Shabazz measuring Muru now and charges at him with a clothesline. Muru ducks and Shabazz goes over the top rope and to the floor.

[Muru then leaps over the top onto Shabazz as he is making his way back to his feet. As both men are down are down JJ Carter makes his way over but the referee makes sure he doesn’t get involved. While the referee is dealing with Carter that gives Shabazz a chance to take control once again]

Nelson: Shabazz with a low blow on Muru and now he bounces his head off the ring apron. Shabazz tosses Muru into the ring and follows him in. Muru is back to his feet and sends Shabazz into the ropes and hit’s a dropkick. He whips Shabazz into the turnbuckle and follows him in with a clothesline and a bulldog coming out of it.

Hart: The quick offense of Muru is getting him back on track here. I knew he would turn it around and come out on top.

Nelson: It wasn’t long ago that you smelt upset.

Hart: I don’t recall that.

[Muru tries for a figure four leg lock but Shabazz kicks him off and into the turnbuckle. Muru hits hard allowing Shabazz to get to his feet. Shabazz hit’s a belly to back suplex which again puts Muru on the mat]

Nelson: Shabazz is going for the cover once again…

1

2

3..

Nelson: No! Muru is just able to get his shoulder up. Shabazz pulls Muru up by the hair but Muru counters with a jawbreaker which sends Shabazz staggering back.

Hart: Down goes Shabazz!

[Muru now takes control and hit’s a Russian leg sweep following it up with a leg drop to the throat of Shabazz]

Nelson: Muru now going for a cover…

1

2...

Nelson: Shabazz kicks out and both men are back to their feet. They lock up again and Shabazz hit’s a knee to the midsection of Muru doubling over. Shabazz going for a vertical suplex but Muru escapes and is behind him!

Hart: Muru with another counter Joel, not sure if that is a good thing or not.

Nelson: What do you mean Robbie?

Hart: Would he need to counter if he wasn’t in a bad spot all the time?

Nelson: Shabazz turns around and Muru greets him with a kick to the gut and then grabs him in a front headlock. Looks like he is going to take a trip Around the World, Muru’s version of a swinging neck breaker.

Hart: Muru is looking to finish him now I think Joel. He is heading to the top rope.

[Muru in on the top rope but Shabazz trying to get to his feet stumbles into the ropes causing Muru to fall crotch first on the turnbuckle]

Nelson: I am not sure Shabazz even knew what was going on but he might have just caught a break.

Hart: I don’t know about a break, but Muru may have busted a…

Nelson: Robbie!

Hart: Just saying Joel, that HAS to hurt!

[Brother Shabazz is able to recover and heads to join the stunned Muru on the top rope. He uses a few right hands to keep control and then uses all of his strength to get Muru into a power bomb position]

Nelson: Shabazz is looking to hit a Second Story Drop!

Hart: Is that even possible?

Nelson: We are about to find out. Wait, maybe not! Muru is fighting out it and is hitting left hands to the top of Shabazz’s head.

[Shabazz falls back to a seated position from the left hands. Muru then out of nowhere sends Brother Shabazz to the mat with a hurricanrana from the top rope]

Hart: What a reversal of fortune for Muru! A moment ago he looked to be done for and now has the upper hand. Muru is now climbing back to the top rope and he leaps onto the fallen Shabazz with a MuruSplash! He hooks the leg…

1

2

3!!!

Dixon: The winner of this match and advancing in the Lord of Punishment tournament…MuuuuRuuuu!!!

Nelson: Muru was able to pick up a victory over Brother Shabazz but it looks like he might suffer a worse fate then losing.

[JJ Carter slides into the ring under the bottom rope. The two men then surround Muru]

Hart: Brother Shabazz said the black movement was on the rise and he warned that he and Carter would make examples out of people, starting tonight with Muru.

Nelson: They definitely have the numbers but Muru looks like he is ready to go toe to toe with them.

[Muru looks at Shabazz and then at Carter as the two men close in on him. He then suddenly hops the top rope and heads up the ramp to a chorus of boos]

Nelson: The old Muru might have stood there and fought. But I guess this new one is as indecisive as ever.

Hart: He is just looking out for number one Joel. He can’t continue on in the tournament if he is taken out of commission by Shabazz and Carter.

Nelson: True, Robbie.

Still in Debt

[The Mac Machine is sitting in an office. The door opens and Tony Awesome walks in.]

Tony Awesome: Listen Mac, I've got very little time, I'm very busy so I'll just say it. You owe me money. I want it in cash.

The Mac Machine: But I gave you an entire steel box full of cash, my debt has been paid as far as I'm concerned.

Tony Awesome: Ok, first of all that machine does not contain that much money in it, ever! Second, you did not pay me with your money. You stole it. So to save your ass, I wheeled that half ton machine back to its place, to save your ass!

The Mac Machine: Doesn't contain that much money? Jesus, how are these damn ATM's taking over, Mac's hold close to infinite dollars, I just don't see what the hell everyone sees in them! And then you have to audacity to put the machine back? How dare you! I'm fighting the fight of mine and all others alike, the Mac Machine are an oppressed species! As far as I'm concerned, the ATM's owe us money, so get it from them! YOU WILL GET NOTHING FOR ME! THIS IS A FRAUDULENT ATTEMPT! NO MONEY FOR YOU!

[The Mac Machine storms out.]

[Backstage we come up on Raymond Jacobson and his new valet standing out side of the locker room area. Upon getting closer we begin to hear his voice.]

Jacobson: Ladies and Gentlemen, allow me to introduce you to my newest addict! Her name is Casey Rose, and she is merely here to be a piece of arm candy and nothing more. But she isn't the topic of discussion right now. The topic at hand is that of the Lord Of Punishment Tournament, which I am currently a part of. And next week I am going to have a match with a guy by the name of Mike Logan. Mike, I seriously hope you don't think you are going to get past me in our match, because I don't see one iota of talent in you.

[Jacobson stops for a second as he removes his sunglasses. He smirks as he glares into the camera.]

Jacobson: Well, look who it is.....If it isn't my old friend The ChED, did you get sense that you needed to make your self important and then decided to come interrupt my segment time? Because the way I see it right now you are getting in the way of my camera time.

[We then see The ChED walk into the set with a smirk on his face looking at Jacobson. The smirk still seems to be plastered on the face of Raymond as the two stand there looking at each other.]

The ChED: I think the people in attendance would thank me for that actually. I'm not here to talk... I am here to help you and your little friend there.

Jacobson: I don't need your help!

The ChED: Do you? You are clearly in conflict with yourself. I want you to think back to when we both first started our little feud. You were on top of the world... the people loved you. Hell, you were a natural born leader when it came to fighting off my WGL. What now Raymond? Where are you now? No one is talking about Raymond Jacobson anymore... their minds have wandered towards others... others like Devon Dice, who was playing second fiddle to us when we were center stage. Do you think that bringing in this GIRL and just letting her stand there doing nothing at all is going to gather the people behind you again? You are just wasting her and your time if that is the case. So, yes, I would say you are lost. These fans don't cheer for you anymore, they pity you.

Jacobson: What are you getting at?

The ChED: What I am getting at is that knock off this constant desperate need to label yourself. You aren't straight edge, you aren't an in ring technician, you are not a hero, and you certainly aren't a rockstar who just has some groupie following him around. Because in the end, those are just words and her... she is just decoration if you don't use her to your advantage.

Jacobson: You talk all the time.

The ChED: Yeah, and guess what... people have been listening. Because I am a credible source, I have goodwill. I think you can learn a lot from me. You and your girl should think about it.

[Chandler goes up to Casey.]

The ChED: Have some self respect for yourself!

[Chandler walks away with a huge smile on his face leaving a steaming mad Raymond Jacobson as the camera cuts back to ringside.]

Nelson: Welcome back! Earlier tonight, we saw Muru advance to round 2 of the tournament, now it’s time for more round 1 action!

Hart: And we get to see a true legend in this business go up against some fatso newbie!

Nelson: Mr. Rich has proven himself to be as sly as they come, but will all that knowledge make up for the huge size advantage giving up?

Hart: Size doesn’t matter, Robbie.

Nelson: Lotta women tell you that one?

Hart: No, I mean, it doesn’t matter how big you are…

Nelson: Keep digging that hole Robbie

Hart: Shut up Nelson!

Lord of Punishment Round 1
Giant Maxx vs. Mr. Rich

Dixon: The following match is scheduled for one fall, and is a LORDS OF PUNISHMENT first round match. Making his way out to the ring first, from PLACES WHERE MEAN FEAR TO TREAD, he is 6'4", 404 lbs, GIANTTTT MAXXXXXX

("The lights dim as fog fills the entrance-way. We then hear the P.O.D. remix of "Aww Naw" by Nappy Roots begin to play over the P.A. system and as the lyrics kick in, we see GIANT MAXX step out from the curtain beating his fist against his chest as he pumps a fist in the air and throws a big stuffed teddy bear into the crowd. He then tags hands with as many fans as he can find and tosses Mardi Gras beads off of his neck to the female fans on his way to the ring as he climbs the steps and steps in the ring. He then stands in the middle of the ring and pumps his fists in the air as the fans cheer for his arrival.")

Nelson: THat is one huge guy.

Hart: Not fair for Mr. Rich to have to face such a monster of a man.

Dixon: And his opponent, from NEW YORK CITY, he is 6'4". 254 lbs, he is MR. RIIICCCHHHH

("Pink Floyd's "Money" hits the arena as Mr Rich makes his way out towards the ring. He stops in the aisle, waving his money around as a dollar sign lights up. He continues to the ring, flashing his money in the fans face and then taking it away. He slowly enters the ring and stands in the center as cannons from all four ring posts shoot out fake money with Mr Rich's face on it. ")

Nelson: Even over 50, Mr. Rich still commands the respect of people in this business, but that doesn't mean they have to like them.

Hart: Mr. Rich is a legend in this business Joel, and don't you forget it.

Nelson: Both men stare each other down.

Hart: I hope Maxx doesn't eat Mr. Rich, he looks a little hungry.

DING DING DING

Nelson: And here we go, first round match!

[Giant Maxx goes in for a grapple, but Mr. Rich ducks out of the way. Maxx goes in again, and Mr. Rich ducks again.]

Nelson: It's like a cat and mouse game.

Hart: This is like Rocky vs Drago.

[Maxx goes for one more grapple, and Mr. Rich ducks again, but Maxx is able to grab ahold of Mr. Rich by the arm, and tosses him hard into the turnbuckle. Mr. Rich, like a dear in headlights, quickly gets to his knees and rolls out of the ring.]

Nelson: Mr. Rich didn't like that one. Giant Maxx is big, and he is powerful.

Hart: And stupid. Why is he leaving the ring?

[Maxx exits the ring, and runs after Mr. Rich, Mr. Rich quickly rolls back into the ring.]

Nelson: One thing Mr. Rich may have Maxx beat in is speed.

[Maxx goes to climb into the ring, and as he is passing over the ropes, is met with a double axe handle. ]

Nelson: That had no effect on Giant Maxx!

[Mr. Rich with another Double Axe Handle.]

Nelson: Still no effect!

[Mr. RIch stares at Maxx for a moment then delivers a set of hard right handed chops to Giant Maxx. Maxx stands and smiles as Mr. Rich stops, makes a big gulp, and is met with a hard clothesline from Giant Maxx]

Nelson: And Mr. Rich goes down and down hard.

[Mr. RIch back to his feet, and Giant Maxx with another hard clothesline. Mr Rich goes down to the mat and is met by a RUNNING ELBOW DROP into a pin]

Nelson: Wow, I felt this place shake a bit.

ONE

TWO

TH...

Nelson: And Mr. Rich able to squirm out of that one.

Hart: Look how Maxx cheated though.

Nelson: What are you talking about?

Hart: Come on Joel, we all saw how Maxx poked his disgusting smelly arm pit into the face of Mr. Rich. Mr. Rich almost knocked himself out.

[Maxx up to his feet, grabs Mr. Rich and tosses him into the corner. Maxx then goes in for a running hip attack into the corner.]

Nelson: And the crowd felt that one.

Hart: Giant Maxx has to be careful. He's not used to this kind of excersise. He may over do it.

[Maxx picks Mr. Rich up, tosses him to the ropes and....]

Nelson: A huge big boot to Mr. Rich's face, and Mr. Rich down and Maxx with another pin cover....]

ONE

TWO

THRE....

Nelson: No...Mr. Rich once again squirms out of it.

[Maxx back to his feet, picks Mr. Rich up, tosses him against the ropes, and catches him into a SIDEWALK SLAM]

Nelson: Mr. Rich getting manhandled by Maxx as Maxx goes for the pin.

ONE

TWO

THRE...

Nelson: Mr. Rich kicks out.

Hart: May be doing a number, but he can't finish the deal.

[Maxx back to his feet, looks around to the crowd for support as Mr. Rich crawls to the corner and gets to his feet. Maxx comes walking over as Mr. Rich grabs his chest and drops to one knee.]

Nelson: What's this about.

Hart: I don't know, but the ref has gone over to check things out.

Nelson: Mr. Rich seems to be having trouble breathing, as he signaling to his chest.

[Evette comes walking out.]

Nelson: Something may be wrong. Evette has come running out, no title, just her.

Hart: This could be serious Robbie.

Nelson: Mr. Rich is in his 50's, it is amazing what he does, but his health may be an issue.

[Giant Maxx, looking quite concerned, slowly walks over to check Mr. Rich out]

Nelson: You gotta like this guy Maxx, here he is, checking his opponent out to make sure he is ok.

[As Evette stands on the ring apron, Mr. Rich, still breathing heavy, stares up and Giant Maxx, breathing heavy, nods his head]

Nelson: Mr. Rich looks like he is saying thank you or something.

[Mr. Rich then smiles, delivers a low blow to GIant Maxx and then tosses Maxx into the BAD INVESTMENT]

Nelson: WHAT A COWARD!!!!!!!!!

(Evette drops down from the apron as Mr. Rich pulls back hard on the legs of GIANT MAXX)

Hart: I told you Giant Maxx was a fool

(Maxx is trying to fight Mr. Rich off. He makes a move to crawl to the ropes but then drops to his chest and....)

DING DING DING

Nelson: And Giant Maxx taps out. The man with the biggest heart-

Hart: Literally!

Nelson: Taps out. He went over as a kind person, wanted to check on the health of Mr. Rich, and Mr. Rich takes advantage of the kindness of GIant Maxx.

Hart: More like the stupidity of Giant Maxx. You never show compassion for your opponent.

("Pink Floyd's Money plays as Mr. Rich exits the ring quickly and makes his way backstage to a chorus of boos. Giant Maxx stands along in the ring, shocked at what just happened.)

I know what I’m doing!

[The crowd gives a mixed reaction as the cameras cut to Chazz Mendel walking down the hall backstage. Chazz has the United States title around his waist. He stops and opens a door suddenly, walking into the locker room. Inside the room, Reg Mendel is looking into a mirror, and adjusting his blazer.]

Chazz: ...And just where the heck do you think you're going?

[Reg scoffs, looking at his son in the mirror while fixing the collar on his shirt.]

Reg: I'm going to do my job, naturally.

Chazz: No.

[Reg turns and faces his son with a bit of a confused, yet very aggitated look on his face.]

Reg: No?

Chazz: Yeah, no! I forbid you to go out there, Dad. Did you not hear what John and I said to you last week? Or did that just go in one ear, and out the other like everything anyone ever says to you that you don't agree with...

Reg: Oh I heard you two flapping your gums. Making your threats. Real noble telling Nick that you were gonna beat the crap out of him if he did that to me though, son. Honestly, real tough talk. But that's all it was. That's all you've ever been, talk! I have half a mind to get Tony Awesome to strip that belt from around your waist right now and give it to the winner of number one contendership match. Hell, either one of those kids could do a lot better job with it than you. You're just going to let it collect dust around your waist.

Chazz: What?! You wouldn't dare! A month ago you were proud of me!

Reg: Yeah, I was! For about fifteen or twenty minutes there, I was happy for you. I thought "hey, my kid's a champ, fantastic." But then when you look at the circumstances to which you, and I use the term loosely, "won," and then what you did with it after the fact, it embarassed me. I thought that my kid was finally going to do what he's paid to do, WRESTLE. But once again you managed to disappoint. See, I'm paid to MANAGE, and that's exactly what I'm gonna do! You're obviously too good to wrestle, but Nick Dangerous isn't. And he's seen fit that I'm good enough to manage him. So until you shape up, I'll manage a WINNER. Excuse me.

[Reg walks past Chazz, who's left totally speechless, and out the door, as the cameras cut to commercial]

cWo Veneration '08
Moving on

[Tiffany Tolberg is backstage with Devon Dice in front of a cWo logo backdrop.]

Tiffany Tolberg: I'm here with Devon Dice. Devon, you had a tough match last week in the first round of the Lord of Punishment tournament against Jacob Baxter. Your thoughts.

Devon Dice: I'm glad to get the victory, it was a hard fought battle and I was fortunate to come out on top. Jacob Baxter may not be the most likable guy in the cWo, but he's tough as nails.

Tolberg: Well next week, you have your second round match up against Honest Griffin, what's the game plan?

Dice: Well I really don't know much about Blackhand, I'm just going to do what I always do, go out there, give it my all and make sure that the fans know they will get an exciting Devon Dice performance. I've got the experience, heart, and the support of the greatest fans in the world, there's no way I'm going down because when you roll the dice, the house always wins!

[Dice walks off the screen and the camera cuts back to ringside.]

Nelson: Strong words from Devon Dice, who looks to move on even further in the Lord of Punishment tournament!

Hart; He got lucky against Baxter!

Nelson: Whether it was luck or not, Devon Dice has to be considered a strong contender to win it all!

Hart: Never! This Blackhand guy is unstoppable, Dice has no chane!

Nelson: Speaking of unstoppable, up next we’ll see the self proclaimed “weapon,” Nick Dangerous up against a man who’s been a constant thorn in his side, Sean Pason!

Hart: But more importantly, the winner of this goes on to face Chazz! Could you just imagine Nick Dangerous vs. Chazz Mendel?!

Nelson: It would be one for the ages, that’s for sure! But enough speculation… take it, Donna Dixon!

US Title no.1 contenders match
Nick Dangerous vs. Sean Pason

DING DING DING

Dixon: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the number one contendership to the United States Championship!

[The lights begin to dim as the intro to “Till I Collapse” begins playing in the background. Then suddenly lights begin to flicker off and on as Sean Pason slowly walks out of the entrance ramp.]

Dixon: Entering the ring first, weighing in at two hundred and ten pounds. He hails from Charlotte, North Carolina. Seeeaaan Paaaasoooon!

Nelson: I think it's fair to say that this match is a main event in its own right.

Hart: Might not be a good idea for these guys to be going at it again this soon considering how much they knocked out of each other the last time!

Nelson: Well whatever they're feeling from Will of a Warrior has to be felt ten fold for Josh Cantrell, and he'll be defending his title right after this.

Hart: I don't know what these guys are thinking!

Nelson: Some of cWo's finest just happen to be gluttons for punishment.

[Pason rolls in the ring, holding his arms in the air to the crowd.]

Nelson: Big time implications on this match folks...

[Pason shadow boxes in the ring when "Demoniality" by Arch Enemy hits the PA system and the lights go dark. Boos are heard, with mild cheers as Nick makes his way down to the ring, sporting his usual ski mask with a skull drawn on the face, and tribal designed yellow and green open trenchcoat. Reg comes out, keeping his distance from behind showing his support for Dangerous.]

Dixon: And his opponent. Being accompanied to the ring by Reg Mendel, weighing in at two hundred and forty five pounds and hailing from Edmonton Alberta Canada. Nick Daaaangerouuuus!

Nelson: I guess we're gonna have to get used to Reg Mendel when we see Nick Dangerous now.

Hart: Yeah, how about that.

Nelson: It feels like it's been a while since Nick's had a running partner. But there's definitely something more behind the relationship between these two.

Hart: Eeeew!

Nelson: Come on now! I mean, it seems like they both have a bond, a platonic bond Robbie, but a bond, it seems they're both getting nostalgic through ties to Nick Dangerous' father.

[Nick Dangerous climbs up the stairs as his music continues to play.]

Nelson: Personally I think I'm in agreement with Chazz Mendel, you should just let the past be the past, and Nick isn't exactly the model of mental health these days.

Hart: Hey if Nick had a problem with Reg being around him, Reg'd know by now.

Nelson: Fair enough.

[Pason looks restless as Nick spedily takes off his entrance gear, finishing off with his ski mask as he looks miserably at referee Hector Garcia and shouts "ring the bell!"]

Nelson": Wait a minute, what's going on here?

[Inaudibly, Garcia battles back, but Nick again shouts "ring the bell!" Drawing closer to Garcia, he becomes nervous as he flails his right hand pointing to the time keeper.]

DING DING DING

[The bell rings as Nick's music hasn't even died down yet. Satisfied with Garcia's call, Nick turns around, to immediately find himself in the clutches of Sean Pason.]

Nelson: Oh! Looks like we're getting a headstart!

[Pason takes Nick down with a belly to belly suplex. Nick tries to roll away but Pason quickly floats over and mounts over Nick Dangerous.]

Nelson: Belly to belly suplex and now we have a bedlam taking place in the ring!

Hart: Pason's throwing haymakers!

Nelson: Yes these two aren't taking the time to get to know each other tonight! They're getting right into it!

[Nick then after blocking a barrage of rights and lefts catches a right hand from Pason and pulls him in.]

Nelson: Pason, trapped now...

[Nick then locks his right arm around Pason's head.]

Nelson: Nick with a front face lock applied, putting on the pressure, he could tap out right now!

Hart: That would make this the biggest disappointment of Pason's career, we're barely a minute into this!

[Pason stands up with a mild headstand and kicks himself out of Nick's grasp, standing in front of a seated Nick Dangerous, Pason begins throwing low left kicks.]

Nelson: Pason with those kicks! This is the last place that Nick Dangerous wants to be!

[Nick blocks the kicks as he scooches backwards into the corner.]

Hart: He made it to the ropes!

Nelson: Indeed, he's gonna have to back off. But I've said it ad nauseum, but it requires repeating, Nick's never looked more human when he's in the ring with Pason.

[Nick shields himself in the corner as he slowly squats up to his feet, while Garcia restrains Pason. As Nick is up, Pason draws nearer, prompting the animal in Nick Dangerous to unleash, leaping at Pason almost like a Lou Thesz Press, but without bringing Pason down, Nick digs his canine tooth into the forehead of Sean Pason.]

Hart: That's not human!

Nelson: Nick is digging in like he's trying to bite through a tough steak!

[Pason screams loudly as he throws left and right body shots to try and fight him off, Nick then breaks from biting his head, repeating knees into Pason's stomache.]

Hart: I think he hears you Joel, the moment you start mentioning his screwups he does the opposite!

Nelson: I never said there's anything wrong with being human, we're all human.

[Backing Pason into a corner Nick begins delivering repeated right forearms heavily into the side of Pason's head.]

Nelson: The usual demeanor of Nick Dangerous is relentless, void of any emotion or hesitation, but when Pason gets him where he wants him, you see emotion, you see restraint, Robbie.

[Pason's brought down to a squat as he leans against the turnbuckle in a daze, Nick backs up as he prepares for another strike.]

Hart: But you're not seeing any restraint here, Nick is letting loose!

[Nick charges Pason with a running forearm but Pason rushes out of harm's way, Nick's elbow collides with turnbuckle.]

Nelson: But Pason sees him coming!

[He turns to Pason, who grabs the sore right arm and judo throws him towards the center of the ring, and follows up quickly with a cross armbar.]

Nelson: You see? Look at the way Nick's fishing for the ropes, he doesn't have that utter and total confidence about him in the ring with Pason, that armbar is one of many in Pason's arsenal and every one is as bit as lethal as the other and if you wouldn't believe it now, that's Nick Dangerous and he's screaming in pain! And these fans are lovin' it!

[Nick pounds his free hand on the mat in frustration as he struggles through the pain to roll to his right and lift Pason up enough to plant his shoulders on the mat, Garcia begins the count.]

ONE

TWO

[Pason kicks out and lets go of the hold.]

Hart: Oooh!

Nelson: Dangerous almost snuck a victory in there!

[As the two rise to their feet, Nick Dangerous lunges at Pason with a right armed lariat.]

Nelson: And misses the clothesline!

[Nick then spins around with his hand clenched together, going for a spinning polish hammer as Pason turns to face Dangerous, but Pason dodges again.]

Nelson: A polish hammer-and no!

[Nick keeps spinning however, which makes perfect timing as Pason turns to face Dangerous again, and the fists meet Pason's chest. Fans let out a collective "oooh" as Pason's drilled to the mat.]

Nelson: Polish hammer it is! A move that's debilitated a few big names in the cWo.

[Nick slams down with a very quick right knee to the chest of Pason, keeping the knee rested on Pason, he makes a nonchalant pin attempt.]

ONE

TWO

Nelson: Just a two. Nick's starting to get that arrogance about him. That polish hammer was a definite game changer.

[Nick paces himself around Pason as Pason struggles to get to a seated position.]

Hart: Well he's just like a kid in a candy store now.

[Nick goes for the leg of Pason, the idea of a leg submission beings applied sends Pason into an adrenaline rush as he kicks the hands of Dangerous away.]

Nelson: Pason doesn't want Nick to grab a hold of those legs.

[Nick powers through some kicks from Pason as he drops an elbow on his right leg.]

Nelson: But Nick wants to disable those legs.

Hart: Of course he does!

[Pason pulls himself towards the ropes as Nick drops another elbow.]

Nelson: That's two elbows to the leg!

[Pason grabs the ropes, Garcia then restrains Nick Dangerous.]

Nelson: And we have yet another rope break.

[Nick shoves Garcia away as Pason gets to his feet, Pason sees him coming as he jumps at him and raises the leg, Nick telegraphs it as he jumps back and crosses his arms over his head to block any potential kicks.]

Hart: Oh no!

Nelson: Whoa! Close call there.

[Pason then closes in and takes a momentarily occupied Dangerous down with a sambo takedown.]

Nelson: Pason sees an opening and seizes it! He's going for a key lock! A key lock!

[Nick again screams in pain as he shakes his arms and legs trying to move himself over towards the ropes.]

Nelson: Nick in a panicked situation here, again having a rare bout of confusion, he needs to get out of that hold as quickly as possible!

[Nick rolls backwards, getting to his knees while in the key lock, Nick struggles enough to give Pason reason to release the hold.]

Nelson: He gets out but the damage could be done!

[Both men rise to their feet as Nick beats Pason to the punch with a knife edge chop.]

Nelson: A knife edge chop to Sean Pason's chest, could've hurt Nick Dangerous as much as it hurt Pason!

[Nick goes for a clothesline but Pason catches his arm.]

Nelson: Pason..Pason's trying to bring Dangerous down with a taste of his own medicine! Dangerous Armbar!

Hart: He has it! Are you kidding me? He has it!

Nelson: Dangerous Armbar!

Hart: No way! He's not gonna tap to his own move!

Nelson: Center of the ring Robbie!

Hart: Not like this!

[Cameras catch a shot of Reg Mendel slapping his hands on the mat, looking frustrated as ever. Screaming loudly, Nick pushes his upper body off the mat with his right hand, and rolls forward.]

Nelson: He's out!

[Pason keeps a hold of Nick's arm, as both rise to their feet, and Nick takes Pason down with a short arm clothesline.]

Hart: Oh man! Wow!

[Pason is down, as Nick keeps a hold of Pason with his sore right arm, and hits another short arm clothesline.]

Nelson: Chain clotheslines from Dangerous!

[Pason is winded but not out as Nick keeps a hold of his arm, looking like he's not completely conscious. Nick picks Pason up and goes for another clothesline.]

Nelson: Pason ducks a third!

[Pason wraps around Nick from behind with a waistlock.]

Nelson: Nick reverses!

[Nick has a waistlock of his own.]

Nelson: But Nick is just not all there, Pason with the reversal.

[Fans cheer loudly again as Pason goes for another Dangerous Armbar.]

Hart: Give me a break! What got into him!

Nelson: Pason stepping on Nick Dangerous territory again with that Dangerous Armbar!

Hart: But Nick's not going down!

[Nick delivers a left elbow into the face of Pason, as he wraps around him.]

Nelson: Nick back into the waistlock.

[Pason attempts a rolling leg lock, but Nick stops him halfway, and gets in a wheelbarrow suplex position.]

Hart: This doesn't look good!

[Nick with all his might hoists Pason in the air for a wheelbarrow suplex, and drops him neck first on the top rope.]

Nelson: My god what strength!

[Pason falls to his back and rolls around clutching his neck as Garcia checks with him frantically to see if he wants to continue.]

Nelson: What a resourceful desperation move from Nick Dangerous!

[Cameras catch Reg Mendel applauding Nick Dangerous as Nick Dangerous collapses to his knees, resting his head and clutching his arm on the second turnbuckle.]

Nelson: Both men feeling the strain, I don't know how much is left between the two of them.

Hart: They hardly took any time to rest this whole match up to this point! It's like they're dishing out the pain and planned on taking the time to really process it after the match!

Nelson: It's been a great match, but is Pason in a position at this stage in the game to pull off what some might consider an upset?

Hart: I don't know if Nick's in a position to stop him, with the damage done to that arm!

[Nick stands up and gets back in the match as Pason sits up, clutching his neck. Nick takes the opportunity to place one hand under his chin, and one on his head, and tilt the head as far as he can, wrenching at the neck.]

Nelson: Nick cranking the neck now. Looks like he found his spot. He wasn't able to break Pason at the legs at Will of a Warrior, and it looks like he's settling for less tonight.

Hart: Less could be more though Joel. I'd rather a man break my leg than break my neck!

Nelson: Can't argue with that. Pason is obviously in pain here, that stungun over the top rope wasn't something you can shake off. Don't be fooled by this neck wrench position he's in now. To the naked eye it looks like a very easy thing to get out of, his legs are free, his arms are free, but look at the intensity Nick's cranking that neck!

[Cameras square in on the intense expression on Nick's face, eyes buldging as he applies maximum pressure on the hold as Pason holds his hands to his head trying to fend off the hold.]

Nelson: He's making an extremely delicate situation for Pason, forceful movement could add just enough stress to that neck to really cause injury.

[Garcia asks if Pason's had enough, to which Pason responds with an emphatic "no!" He grabs Nick's hands and forcefully pulls them from his head, and pulls his arms forward, leans back, and kicks the top of Nick's head.]

Nelson: Whoa!

[Nick's eyes roll over as he falls to a seated position.]

Nelson: That'll buy him some time!

Hart: That sounded like hitting a baseball with a bat!

Nelson: But it was the sick sound of a mixed martial artist kicking a man's skull inside out!

[Pason rolls over to his hands and knees, then rises to just his knees as he closes his eyes tightly and rubs his increasingly sore neck, as Nick looks dazed as he struggles gets to his feet, not looking completely aware of his surroundings as he stumbles around.]

Nelson: It's scary that Nick's even trying to get up in that state, and I mean scary for Dangerous, as desperate as he is to hide his weakness he's just accentuating it by trying to pretend that his lights just got knocked out.

[Pason sees the state Nick's in as he slaps his right leg and looks to the audience.]

Nelson: Pason's been thinking about this moment from the moment he fell short at Will of a Warrior!

Hart: Well he better worry about connecting it instead of pandering!

[Nick gets up shaking his head, trying to get back in the game, when Pason attempts his now infamous roundhouse kick, but Nick ducks it.]

Hart: See what I mean!

Nelson: Not so fast!

[Pason spins a full circle as he tries it again, but this time Nick blocks it, and hooks Pason's right leg over his left shoulder, and hoists him up, lifting him into a powerbomb.]

Nelson: Wait! Powerbomb! No!

[Pason hops over Nick's head, both men spare little attention to their respective deteriorating limbs as they turn to face each other.]

Nelson: ROUNDHOUSE KICK! HE HIT IT!

Hart: Reg is out of his mind over this!

Nelson: Pason's never been closer!

[Pason falls over forward and pins Dangerous.]

Nelson: It's over!

ONE

TWO

Nelson: THREE!

[In disbelief, Pason rolls to his back to recuperate, as Nick does the same. Hector Garcia begins counting for a double knockout.]

Hart: Not three!

Nelson: Not three!?

ONE

Hart: Not three!

Nelson: How did he kick out!

TWO

Hart: He's The Weapon! He's Nick Dangerous!

Nelson: I don't get it! That kick's put him out on more than one occasion in the past!

THREE

Hart: When the adrenaline's flowing instinct kicks in. That wasn't Nick Dangerous kicking out, that was instinct!

FOUR

Hart: Besides, I think the last few times scrambled Nick's brain so much that he might not even feel it as much as he used to.

FIVE

Nelson: Pason can't be discouraged, he needs to keep going.

[Both men start showing signs of life as they roll over to their chest, Pason gets to his knees as he looks at Dangerous, identifies his exhausted state, and points to him as he looks to the crowd, and again slaps his right leg.]

Nelson: Will the second time be the charm?

[Pason gets up and gets in a stance for another kick as Nick agonizingly recovers to his feet.]

Hart: Don't get up Nick! Milk it! Come on!

[Pason draws closer as Nick gets up on one knee, having assessed the situation Nick quickly charges two forearms into the gut of Pason, and follows up with a european uppercut.]

Nelson: No!

[Nick draws Pason in again with and takes him down with a swinging neckbreaker.]

Nelson: Uppercut and a neckbreaker from Nick Dangerous!

[Both men are down again.]

Hart: I don't know Joel. I think your favorite wrestler is starting to put too much bank behind that roundhouse kick!

Nelson: I can't disagree with you, not to sell his roundhouse short, I think in his mind he just wants that storybook ending, he's knocked Nick out with that kick before, but only in face to face confrontations, his roundhouse victory has yet to be logged in the recordbooks.

[Nick, lying in close range of Pason, hooks his arm around his neck again, as he rolls back, and pulls Pason up.]

Nelson: And it looks like we're gonna get another neckbreaker! Oooh!

[Nick takes Pason down with yet another neckbreaker, as he seems more into it now, he rolls back and picks Pason up again.]

Nelson: The trifecta...wait!

[Pason shows signs of life as well as he pushes Nick backwards, and the two tumble over through the middle and top rope, landing on the apron.]

Nelson: Pason is safe.

Hart: For now!

[Both men slowly bring themselves up, as they stand on the apron. Halfway up, Nick hits another european uppercut.]

Hart: Oooh.

Nelson: Uppercut. Wait a minute!

[Nick hooks Pason in a familiar position again, as he swings off the apron with Pason, hitting a neckbreaker which connects to the mat outside.]

Nelson: My god he just hit a neckbreaker off the apron to the outside of the ring!

[Fans go wild as the two lie down and out, Reg Mendel puts his hands on his head as he gasps in shock of the high risk move. Hector Garcia starts a count out.]

ONE

Hart: Well neither man will be getting up from that one!

Nelson: The risk is far greater than the reward for moves like that.

TWO

Nelson: I don't care who you are, they might have landed on protective padding, but there's concrete under that padding, and that padding isn't exactly a cushion.

THREE

Hart: Yeah they looks just about out cold.

FOUR

FIVE

[Both men then start showing signs of life as among the cheers heard are conversations buzzing in the audience.]

SIX

Nelson: They're actually getting up.

SEVEN

[Both men get to a seated position, Pason attempts to roll back in the ring, but Nick grabs him by the tights and pullls him out, and shoves him backwards into the announce table.]

EIGHT

Nelson: It's a race to the ring!

[Nick tries to get in, but Pason grabs him by the tights and struggles to pull him out.]

NINE

[Pason brings him back to his feet on the outside, and knocks him out with another roundhouse kick.]

Nelson: HE DID IT!

[Nick falls back, lying in a seated position against the stairs, as Pason groggily attempts to get in the ring.]

TEN

DING DING DING

Nelson: He did it! Sean Pason beat Nick Dangerous!

[The crowd volume amplifies as Pason lies on the mat exhausted as he breathes heavily and clutches his neck. Meanwhile Hector Garcia speaks with Donna Dixon.]

Nelson: That neckbreaker is gonna sting for a long long while but he did what he set out to do, he kicked the hell out of Dangerous and he took the victory, he's gonna go to Veneration and face the United States Champion!

Hart: I wonder what Chazz Mendel is thinking right now!

[Reg is seen arguing with Hector Garcia as Hector tries casting him aside as he walks back into the ring.]

Dixon: Ladies and gentlemen the results of this match has been concluded by referee Hector Garcia....double count out!

Hart: We're gonna have to see that again!

[The fans boo the announcement as Reg Mendel smiles and tends to Nick Dangerous. Pason closes his eyes as he sits on his knees, frustrated as he was never closer to beating Nick Dangerous. The picture in picture shows a replay of Hector counting, and Sean Pason rolling inside the ring, the moment Hector calls the ten is the same time Pason's feet leave the top of the mat.]

Nelson: Well cWo fans might be debating this one for a while. Reg is satisfied with the result from the looks of things, but is this really good for either man?

Hart: They might have to have a rematch!

Nelson: Or...if Josh Cantrell's mystery opponent puts on a good show he might have United States Title contention!

Hart: Hell this mystery opponent might be our next champion!

Nelson: That's right Robbie. We gotta take a break folks and see if we can wake Nick Dangerous up from a coma! When we come back there's a World Title match ahead! Stay tuned!

What Really Happened!

[Jason Duran is backstage looking very nervous holding a piece of paper in his hand.]

Duran: Ladies and gentlemen, my guest at this time ... is uh... her...

[The camera pans out to reveal a stern Chastity McGavin standing next to him. He looks at her and then looks back at the piece of paper in his hands.]

Duran: Chastity has some words she would... uh like to ... well, she wrote down a statement about the remarks made by Mary-Joe and Mike Logan the attack last week.

[Duran clears his throat.]

Duran: She writes "Mike Logan never touched me, nor did I do anything with Mary-Joe Wolf. It is true he did knock me unconcious, but I came to before he had a chance to do anything to either one of us. I was able to beat him down and grab Mary-Joe and get us out of there. After the "incident," me and Mary-Joe went our seperate ways and she didn't talk to me for a couple of days. Apparently, Mary-Joe negotiated for me to be off the evening after Will of the Warrior. I was shocked and dismayed when I heard both making claims to stuff that did not happen. While I knew something was up, I didn't think for one moment that my closest confidant would turn her back on me. I don't care what the reason is, I am going to make sure both Mary-Joe and Mike Logan pay dearly. If you thought the "Female Machine" was dangerous beforehand just wait until I get my hands on Mike Logan and then introduce Mary-Joe to the 10th circle of Hell. She has truly proven that she doesn't stand for equality, but is just another pretender who submits to a man the minute she wants "something." While she is going to be put through hell, Mike Logan, words cannot describe what I will do to you when I get a chance."

[Chastity looks at Duran and then stares at the camera and walks away.]

cWo Veneration '08
World Title match
Josh Cantrell vs. ???

“Yeah I Get It You’re An Outcast”

Nelson: Here we go! We’re about to find out who “The Product of Hate” Josh Cantrell will defend the cWo World Heavy Weight Title against.

[“The Sound of Madness” by Shinedown roars from the PA as the lights dim and red fog fills the entrance way. “The Product of Hate” Josh Cantrell, dressed to compete with the still black cWo World Title slung over his shoulder steps through the fog to a loud chorus of boos with a few cheers still thrown in. The house lights slowly rise as a very determined looking Cantrell makes his way to the ring not acknowledging any reaction from the crowd be it positive or negative. He steps through the ropes and takes a microphone from Donna Dixon who then exits the ring.]

Josh Cantrell: Ain’t no sense in stalling, last week I made a challenge and I’m sure you’re all dying to find out who I’ll be facing tonight. Ya know what though, I couldn’t decide…

Nelson: What? We’ve been hyping this title defense all night and now he’s going to back out!

Hart: He didn’t say that.

[Cantrell leans over the ropes and looks out at the rabid crowd.]

Josh Cantrell: But that don’t mean I’m not defending the belt tonight, I ain’t that type of Champion. I didn’t decide because I wanna see who’s sitting in the back with a set big enough to walk out here and say they want this shot. So basically it’s a race, first guy that walks out through the curtain gets the shot.

[The big screen flickers to life and shows a crowd of production workers standing around a catering table near the gorilla position. The camera pans to the ground and shows a pair of black dress shoes and khaki pants walking past.]

Nelson: Who was it?

Hart: We’re about to find out.

[“Superstar” by Saliva hits the PA and the crowd explodes as “Hotshot” Chris Michaels dressed in street clothes walks through the curtain with a microphone in hand. Cantrell just smirks and shakes his head.]

Nelson: It’s The Hotshot! Chris Michaels is here to cash in on the huge opportunity.

Hart: Whoop Dee Doo

Josh Cantrell: You gotta be kidding me, I thought you retired for the 45th time? This is a shot at the cWo World Title we’re talking about, have you lost your mind old man? As far as I know cWo ain’t starting a seniors division so you need to take your ass back to Shady Manor or whatever retirement home you wandered away from cause I think it’s time to take your meds and get your diaper changed.

Nelson: What a blatant show of disrespect by Josh Cantrell to this cWo Legend.

Hart: He’s the past, Cantrell is clearly the future of cWo.

Nelson: Well as disrespectful as Cantrell was, Michaels looks amused by it.

HotShot: An age joke...pretty good CHAMP. But let me tell you something. I might not be dressed to compete. I might have thoughts of the "r" word running through my head, but tonight kid, you've taken all those thoughts away.

*crowd pop*

HotShot: Five years ago, everyone thought the HotShot was washed up. He'd been to battle with everyone who mattered in this industry. I'm talking about the Notorious Jon's (huge pop from the crowd at this mention), the Chris Cypher's (almost nearly as huge a pop), the Heretic's, the Devon Dice's , (Michaels looks around) even the Christian Roman's! But five short years ago I got an opportunity and I cashed it in. I got the chance at the World Heavyweight title. And if you want to know how the story ended, I've got a plaque in Miami that will explain it.

(Michaels walks closer toward the ring)

HotShot: That said Josh, I'm out here tonight to prove that lightning can strike twice. I realize I'm not the youngest..

Hart: That's for sure.

HotShot: I realize I'm not the fastest anymore. But I've still got enough heart, determination and know how for one more good run on top. See Josh, I'm not like these young boys in the back, your little "act" doesn't scare me. And right now Josh, whether this is my last match, or my first match on the road to a long title reign, you get to realize what these people and some of those guys in the back have known for years...the HotShot always comes out on top!

[Hotshot drops the mic and begins removing his tie and rolling up his sleeves as he walks towards the ring. Cantrell hands the title off to someone at ringside and motions for Michaels to bring it on.]

Nelson: Those were some bold statements from Chris Michaels and this very well could be his last shot at being on top of cWo.

Hart: His last shot happened a long time ago Joel, the last time Chris Michaels was relevant in this industry was back when you were in High School getting stuffed in your locker.

Nelson: It hasn’t been that long that he beat Nick Dangerous.

Hart: Yeah and that fluke will go down as his final claim to fame.

[Michaels slides into the ring and is immediately met with stomps by Cantrell as the bell sounds.]

DING DING DING

Nelson: Michaels vs. Cantrell for the World Title is underway.

[Cantrell doesn’t let up and continues to stomp away at Hotshot until the crowd shakes the building to it’s foundation as the voice of Johnny Serious comes over the sound system and says "Are You SERIOUS.". An orange light turns on in the arena as the song "Elevation" by U2 plays. Johnny Serious makes his way out.]

Nelson: Here comes the man who will be facing one of the two men in the ring right now at Veneration! Listen to the crowd!

Hart: I hear it, but I don’t know why.

[Cantrell lets up on the assault of Michaels and mouths at Serious who walks over to the announce table and takes a seat next to Robbie and Joel. He puts on a headset.]

Nelson: It’s nice of you to join us Johnny.

Hart: You certainly have the attention of the Champion, but you don’t seem to be paying attention.

Serious: ARE YOU SERIOUS? Cantrell should worry about the man sneaking up behind him and not me.

[Michaels gets to his feet and rolls up Cantrell from behind.]

ONE

TWO

KICKOUT!

Nelson: Kickout by Cantrell but Michaels almost stole the title right there!

Hart: Stealing it would be the only way he’d get it.

Serious: That’s what Josh gets for not keeping his eyes on his opponent.

[Cantrell quickly gets back to his feet but is met by a flurry of rights and lefts from Michaels.]

Nelson: The Hotshot is taking it to “The Product of Hate”!

[Cantrell fights him off and drives a knee into the midsection. Cantrell grabs the left arm of Michaels and whips him into the ropes. Michaels ducks a clothesline and nails a picture perfect drop kick.]

Serious: Chris Michaels SERIOUSLY wants this, it could be him I face at Veneration!

Hart: I hope not, I SERIOUSLY hope not.

Serious: As much as I would love to get my chance at Cantrell, if Chris Michaels wins tonight, than I will be happy to face the Hot Shot!

[Cantrell gets back up and eats another drop kick that sends him out to the floor. Michaels eats up the crowds support as Cantrell leans against the announce table and Johnny Serious stands up.]

Nelson: Uh oh, things could be about to explode right here at the announce table.

Serious: I am just getting prepared in case he decides to try something.

[Cantrell turns around and screams at a smiling Serious.]

Cantrell: OH I BET YOU’RE LOVING THIS!

Serious: I SERIOUSLY am.

[Cantrell draws his fist back but before he can strike Serious, Michaels dives over the top rope with a Plancha onto Cantrell.]

Hart: An old man in khaki pants and penny loafers just flew through the air!

Nelson: He certainly did, but that took a lot out of the Hotshot.

[Michaels slowly gets to his feet holding his lower back and he tries to pull Cantrell up but Josh drives two stiff rights into the gut of Hotshot and stands up on his own.]

Nelson: Referee Johnny Williams is about to start counting both men out if they don’t get back in the ring soon!

ONE

TWO

Serious: I SERIOUSLY hope it doesn’t end like this.

Hart: You get on my nerves.

Serious: THANKS!

THREE

FOUR

[Cantrell wraps his arms around the waist of Michaels and drives his lower back into the ring apron and rolls back into the ring.]

Nelson: Cantrell makes it back in the ring to break the count at four but Chris Michaels is still on the outside on one knee holding his lower back.

Hart: Surprised he didn’t break a hip.

Serious: Your jokes are SERIOUSLY bad.

[Michaels eventually pulls himself up and is able to roll back into the ring.]

Nelson: Michaels is back in the ring, but he looks to be in bad shape.

[As soon as Chris stands Cantrell scoops him up in his shoulders and signals for DRIVEN BY HATE.]

Nelson: Cantrell setting up for DRIVEN BY HATE! If he hits this it’s over.

Serious: You have to admit that is a SERIOUSLY devastating move.

[Cantrell swings him out but Michaels shifts his weight in midair and lands on his feet. He hooks a stunned Cantrell around the waist and drops him with an inverted Atomic Drop.]

Nelson: “Hotshot” Chris Michaels is still alive! His title hopes are still within reach.

Hart: Come on Joel, he was barely alive before the match started and his title hopes have been out of reach for years!

[Cantrell grabs his crotch and Michaels hooks an arm around his head and quickly sends him to the mat with a snap suplex. Michaels goes for the pin.]

ONE

TWO

KICKOUT WITH AUTHORITY.

Nelson: Cantrell tossed the Hotshot off easily but is very slow getting up, I believe the Hall of Famer has given the young Champion more of a fight than he imagined.

Serious: I never saw Chris as a SERIOUS threat before this match but he’s quickly changing my mind.

Hart: That’s only temporary, he’ll go right back to sucking next week.

[Cantrell slaps the mat in frustration and rolls over on his stomach and uses his arms to push himself up. Michaels attempts a Super Kick but Cantrell grabs his foot.]

Nelson: The Hotshot had the Super Kick in mind but it looks like the Champion has other ideas!

[Cantrell latches onto the throat of Michaels and lifts Chris into the air before dropping him across his knee.]

Nelson: Chokebreaker by Cantrell!

Hart: The end is near I can smell it, or maybe Michaels just needs his Depends changed.

Serious: Come on Robbie, even you can't be that much of an idiot!

[Michaels wiggles around on the mat in agony as Cantrell stalks over him, just waiting for him to stand.]

Nelson: Why isn’t he going for the pin?

Serious: I said it a few weeks ago, this guy is no better than Heretic. At least with Heretic, we knew from the start he was out there. Cantrell, he became a man possesed by the desire to win that gold at no cost. Including nearly ending my career!

Hart: I’m so tired of hearing that.

Serious: I'm SERIOUS! You'll see. Cantrell stopped at nothing to win that title and I am sure he will stop at nothing to make sure no one takes it away. But that's his weakness guys. See, Heretic didn't care about the title, just the game. Cantrell cares too much about his position as the champion, and that may cost him. It may cost him tonight, or at Veneration!

[Chris Michaels struggles to pull himself up using the ropes but as soon as he’s to his feet he gets scooped up on Cantrell’s shoulders once again.]

Nelson: Cantrell setting up DRIVEN BY HATE again!

[Josh swings The Hotshot out over his head and plants him into the mat with force.]

Hart: No getting up this time!

[Cantrell nonchalantly covers Michaels and points at Serious.]

ONE

TWO

THREE

Donna Dixon: Ladies and Gentlemen, your winner and STILL cWo WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, “The Product of Hate” JOSH CANTRELL!!!

Serious: Josh might not have put much effort into that cover, but everyone that watched that match knows he was in SERIOUS danger of getting beat on a couple of occasions!

Hart: You’re nuts he was never in danger once.

Nelson: I think it was a valiant effort by a cWo Hall of Famer who proved tonight even in a losing effort that he still has some fight left in him but the bigger, younger, scary, and downright impressive Champion was just too much. That’s going to wrap it up for this week though, for our special guest Johnny Serious and Robbie Hart, I’m Joel Nelson and we’ll see you next week on DRIVEN!

[Johnny Williams raises Cantrell’s hand and hands him the title as a disappointed looking Chris Michaels rolls out to the floor. Cantrell walks over to the ropes and holds the black World Title up and points to it looking directly at Serious who stands up and nods in his direction as the cWo logo appears in the corner of the screen and show comes to a close.]
