RULES
[1.1] Angle-Based

cWo is an angle-based federation, so winning, losing, being a champion or not being a champion isn't a factor of major concern to its handlers. Our major concern revolves around the quality of our weekly results(twice a week on Pay-Per-View weeks) so to further our cause requires a selflessness and a common goal to get not only your own, but every character you work with over with your peers.

[1.2] Writing Matches and Segments

Don't expect anyone to write your matches or segments. Being that this is an angle fed you're relieved of the requirement to write a roleplay or more on a weekly basis, though you're more than welcome to do so. In place of having to RP once a week is the task of making sure that matches your involved in and segments involving your characters are covered. If a match comes up on the card with your name on it, it's not anyone elses job but those involved in that particular match to handle the duties of writing it. It's important to communicate with the other participants of your matches what their desired outcome is and work out what's gonna happen in these matches. We've been going strong for most of the year with weekly shows, deadline for matches and segments is midnight every wednesday, and won't wait if something doesn't come in on time.

[1.3] Created Wrestlers

Only characters that have been originally conceived from the mind of the individual applicant will be considered for employment within the cWo. So if you try applying as an already existing wrestler, person or character, then your application won't get far, but this is a game and we're always open to new guys coming along and sharing the enjoyment that we have doing this hobby with one another, so upon rejection our community is always willing to help you forge a character that can hold its own in the universe we've created.

[1.4] Content

It's a rare thing in an angle fed for other peoples' material to be plagiarized or stolen, and has yet to take place in the cWo if it ever even does, but even so, please be mindful of other peoples' writing and do your own thing. Of all firsts we've had in cWo we'd hate to have a first in this category.

[1.5] Inactivity

Nothing's more disappointing than a promising newcomer that disappears and never speaks to us again. So please if you're going to choose this e-fed as your home it's important that you communicate. If you apply and after a week realize it's not your cup of tea then please let us know you're leaving so we don't end up relying on you for something we shouldn't be expecting.

[1.6] OOC

The cWo prides itself on its active forums and community. Never be afraid to provide feedback to your peers if you think they're doing a good or a poor job, as long as you're not trying to start something you'll be treated with equal respect, and if you don't feel you're being treated respectfully you can always talk to the fed head or really anyone else on the roster and such issue will be addressed. Our cooperative OOC roster can be considered a rarity in that the bickering is minimal and the cooperation is fantastic, so please don't be afraid to join the community, if you're ever in a creative rut or have any issues that are getting in the way of your enjoyment of your cWo experience, there's always someone to talk to and we'll see what can be done to remedy it.

[1.7] Permission

With the stress on cooperation it's frowned upon to write a segment or a match involving someone elses characters without consent from the handler of the character you're using, so please be careful when you're using a character that doesn't belong to you. It's wasteful to put your character over at another character's expense, please make sure whatever you're doing when using other characters and make sure it's beneficial to both characters. Collaboration is the key.

[1.8] Formatting

For continuities sake we want to be sure everyone's matches have the same look as others. Here's a write up of the way we format our matches/segments.

Wilden: Both wrestlers are currently outside of the ring.

Hart: Look at the referee! The way he's counting it's like someone's spelling it out for him!

ONE

TWO

THREE

FOUR

FIVE

Wilden: The wrestlers are back in the ring now...Hey! Wrestling move performed by a wrestler!

Hart: What an idiot, he fell right into that move! You could write what happened to him in between two square brackets and he still wouldn't know what hit him there!

[Dominating wrestler panders to the crowd.]

Wilden: Well he's certainly cocky.

Hart: He deserves to be cocky, Lance.

Wilden: How do you know my first name? I'm only addressed by my last name! And here's the pin!

ONE

TWO

Wilden: Kickout!

Hart: That's so f*cking lame!

Wilden: Robbie!

Hart: It's alright, it was censored with AN ASTERISK. AN ASTERISK LANCE.

Wilden: Oh! Well then...

Hart: Hey look, pin.

Of course your take on the above won't be as obnoxious of mine but it's just to be used as an example of what your writing should look like when you write segments for the shows, if it's a roleplay you can do whatever you want with it of course, but for the show it looks more professional to keep it to a similar format. You can also read shows to get a better feel for it.

Well these are the rules, please try to abide by them as we all do, and most importantly have fun! This is just a game after all.
